This illustration was commissioned for part of a promotion package for a Turkish night club. A spin on the term 'Odeum'-a building used for musical performances in ancient Greece-I mixed an intricate drawing with a striking yet limited palate in an effort to create something distinctive.

Julien Simery say… Hi you, I am a young french student, just coming from a semester in Prague, Czech Republic and now doing an internship in Paris. I will then go back to the South of France, on the mediteranean coast to continue my studies. I am keen on photography, graphic design and movie editing.I began to try Photoshop and Illustrator a few years ago and I am very happy to see what can be done with this tools. I also like to use new web tools, FlickR, Blog engines, and CarbonMade was just in the same spirit, I think it is a very good way for me to have a place to show my beginner's work. I will maybe regret the fact that there is no interaction through comments here, but the portfolio is so well presented ! I also wanted to have a little place among the others incredibles portfolios on CarbonMade, I like to see their work and even if we don't play on the same level, it is good to be here. Take a look at the carbonmade works Prague by night Paris by night
